Gentle Care Home Services
Our team at Gentle Care Home Services delivers comprehensive care for medically fragile children from infancy through age 21. Our services are designed to address each child's specific needs, ensuring they receive the support required for optimal health and well-being.
We also empower parents to become paid caregivers for their children through the Georgia Pediatric Program (GAPP). This Medicaid initiative supports families by offering both skilled and unskilled services for children aged 5 – 21, provided that the child is enrolled in Medicaid.
Under GAPP, families have access to a wide range of services tailored to the individual medical requirements of each child. These include personal care and hygiene, mobility assistance, wound and catheter care, visits from nursing professionals, insulin injections, medication management, wheelchair assistance, respiratory treatments, G-tube care, and more.
There are no out-of-pocket costs for families enrolled in GAPP, as services are approved based on the child's medical needs. Medicaid-eligible families can apply for GAPP at any time, ensuring that the necessary support and care you need are always within reach.
